Repurpose an old chair and turn it into a shelf! This project works best with a ladder-back chair. Cutting the chair in half (it sounds semi-intense, but you got this) can create a mutli-use upcycle project by using the seat as storage. Paint and decorate your new shelf with mood boosting colors and knick knacks and unwind in your new surroundings.
Have your jewelry on display in a unique way. Add to the ambiance by upcycling a cheese grater and using it as an earring holder! Right? This is pure genius. Spray paint your cheese grater and the diversity of your earrings will serve as all the décor you need.
Candles are a must have for calm and clarity. Grab a couple of wine glasses and decorate the stems with ribbons or an old necklace. Flip the glass upside down and place the candle on top. With this design, you can fill the inside of the glass with plush greenery or flowers.
Have a chalkboard?
Whether you use it for words of affirmation, or your daily to do’s, drawing on the board directly or designing around the boarder can add some creative flare. Try drawing some accent designs in each corner of your board, add some lights around the border and make it a mood board (literally), or add some cloth around the edge to soften it up.
