So, in that order, we bring you all things Amal.
Amal’s own name means hope in Arabic, and this is what she brings to those she is fighting for as a human rights lawyer and working in international criminal law. She has represented many high-profile cases including defending one of three Al-Jazeera journalists detained in Egypt and representing the country of Armenia for recognition of the genocide. She’s met with many world leaders including Pope Francis with whom she discussed Europe's migrant crisis.
In addition to her work, she leads the Clooney Foundation for Justice, speaks out and is a champion for women’s rights worldwide, and is an educator inspiring the next generation to fight for human rights in the courts of law.
Inside and outside the courtroom, Amal keeps it classy, chic, and sophisticated. She knows how to dress for every occasion and almost always pairs her look with a Clooney closet staple, the pointed pump.
